Society

What is a society?

• People live together, and we call this living together in a society.
• Everything we do together is part of the society.
• We look after each other in a society.
• Children go to the learning Centre to learn.
• We all practice our religion regularly.

What can we find in a society?

Mother, father, sister, brother – all live together in a family. Also relatives, friends and others lives in a family. Grandparents also live with them. In a family, everyone looks after one another.

Boys and girls from families come to the learning center. The teacher helps them learn English, Mathematics, Science, Myaanmarsar and more. Sports, Music and Drawing are also practice in the learning center. Every child should go to the learning center.

In every society, the health clinic provides health care facilities. For any kind of health problems, the doctor at the health clinic provides treatment to the patients. He/she prescribes medicine to the patients.

In our society, people look after one another. Elders take care of the children. People living in a society help each other.

Our Family

Our family is a part of the society. Mother, father, sister, brother – all live together in a family. Also our family consists of relatives, friends and others. It is very essential to have love and affection for each other in a family. Each member has to do own task or duty. Besides each has to take few more responsibilities. Such as:

• Children respect their elders. Elders respect their children too.
• Elders love young children. They help everyone.
• Elders try to keep everyone safe.
• Elders and teachers take care of the children’s education.
• Elders and children say their prayers regularly.
• Family lives happily together.
• Family prepares food for all the members and takes food together.
• Family members look after everyone’s emergency needs in the family.
• Parents and children take care of the elders in their family.

Our Learning Centre

Our Learning Centre is also a part of our society. Learning Centre provides education to students. It is teacher’s responsibility to give good education to the students and students' duty to learn well. Elders send their children to the learning centre for education. A learning centre has to abide by some rules of the society and carry out some duties. These are:

• Creates opportunity for education to every student.
• Creates a scope for students to participate in sports activity, drawing, songs besides their studies.
• Concerned about ensuring safety issues of the students.
• Creates an environment where students can maintain a harmonious relationship among themselves.

Our Health Clinic

Health Clinic is an important establishment of the society. The main duty of a health clinic is to provide quick treatment to the people. Here the doctors and nurses work hard to provide medical care to the patients. The services provided are extremely essential for a community.

• A doctor’s duty is to provide treatment for the patients in a health clinic.
• Cure patients by prescribing medications.
• Doctors give advice on food along with the medicines for the patients.
• In times of epidemics , provide no -stop care for patients and build awareness in the community.
• When endemics break out, often people put in isolation or separated from the rest of the people.
• This measure is taken in order to stop the spread of the disease.

Medicines are used to treat disease.

Epidemics

Spread of any disease to many people at the same time.

Look After Everyone

There are many people in our society. There are teachers, doctors, police, and community leaders. We all love and care for each other. Elders take care of the children. Younger respect elders. We should help each other in times of need. We try to keep our society safe and happy.

How does your family fit into the society?

The family of Senuara Begum and Arshad

Recently Arshad and Senuara Begum have come to a new country. They have brought Taslima Jannat Hemu and Asmaira Begum, their own daughters and Arkan Ullah, their own son with them. Arshad’s wife and children are his family. Arshad and his family had a hard time when they first came to this place. In the beginning, they knew no one and had difficulty in finding a new place to stay. But slowly they made new friends with people around them and adapted to the new society. Arshad has found a job as a day Volunteer in the new country. Senuara Begum teaches children in a learning centre near their house. She goes there every day. Both of them now earn their living. Taslima Jannat Hemu, Asmaira Begum and Arkan Ullah go to the learning centre every day. They learn new things there. Arshad buys rice, fish and vegetables. Senuara Begum cooks meal for every one. Her family helps her in cooking. Everyday they all have their dinner together. Life in the new place is becoming easy for them and they are enjoying their stay here. They are thankful to ALLAH and people in their society.
